How long have you been doign this? SunCam has been archiving Florida for the past 6 years.

Why did you create Suncam? To give people all over the world a chance to see Florida, we decided to install a cam in our vehicle to share Florida. with everyone.
What's with the cam in your vehicle? To us, this is the best way to show everyone what Florida is all about. You get to see the streets, buildings, cars, boats, malls, homes and much more.
Where is the camera located? The cam is mounted on a heavy-duty, custom-fabricated tripod stand.
Where do you go with the cam? All around the State of Florida.
Here are some cities we take the cam to: Orlando, Daytona, Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Fort Pierce, Jenson Beach, Jupiter, Hobe Sound, Key West, Miami Beach, Vero Beach, West Palm Beach and lost more.
Do you ever take the cam out of Florida? Occasionally.
Are you really live? Yes. we get about 10 to 15 emails a day asking that same question. YES...
Why does the site say it's live, yet the image doesn't change? We are sending the images using a wireless connection. We reach areas where we get no signal while traveling from city to city; and
the connection drops.
Why are you in the same place for so long? At times, we leave the cam running while parked. (Hopefully, something interesting might happen.) Sometimes people will peek their heads at the car's windshield to see what all the cam stuff is about.
What type of equipment do you use? We have a Camcorder , a desktop computer, wireless modem, deep-cycle batteries, and power inverters.
Are you getting paid to do this? No, we're not. It's all for fun, because we want people all over the world to have a chance to view Florida. However we do take donations Click Here to Help
Can you take a picture of a specific location? Yes. It may take a little time, since we receive a lot of email requests to do this. But by all means, send in your requests. Let us know if you want us to aim the cam at a specific spot, or if you'd like a picture with a regular digital camera.
Can you email some photos to me ? Of course we can. It might take about a week to email the pictures, and there is a maximum of ten pictures per email or person. I almost forgot to mention -- if you use these pictures other than for your personal use, please give credit to: www.suncam.tv
